Microbiom Analysis
At Diagen, we carry out your microbiota projects domestically using Illumina systems and our advanced server infrastructure. Microbiota studies are conducted on samples such as stool, meconium, breast milk, vaginal swab, cervical swab, oral swab, and skin swab.
The raw data from next-generation sequencing performed with Illumina systems is obtained directly from the device and processed using tools we have developed, alongside those published as open-source within the Human Microbiome Project. The most up-to-date microbiome databases (such as Silva, Greengenes, and others) are utilized for data analysis. (For detailed results and visuals, see “Sample Report.”)
Python and R programming languages are used for analyses and data visualizations. (For a list of analyses conducted within the scope of the project, see "Statistical Analyses.")
